Five climate activists are willing to go to jail for decades to stop climate change. What are we willing to do? How important is it to support these types of actions?
How can we stop climate disaster? The way to stop it, is to stop it. On October 11, 2016, five climate activists shut down five tar sands oil pipelines located in four states. This shut down 15% of US crude oil imports for nearly a day. They face up to 90 years in prison.
Their action was done in solidarity with the struggle against the Dakota Access Pipeline.
As they prepare for court, join them in person for a provocative and exciting discussion. They’ll speak with us about strategy and share their journey and the love that inspired them.
Bring your whole self, doubts, hopes, questions and let's face for ourselves what will be required of us if we are to maintain a livable planet for all.
No one turned away for lack of funds. This is a fundraiser. Half of the donations collected will be given to the legal fund of the activists who will speak at this event and half will go to NoDAPL.
