Facilitated by a team of experienced trainers, we’ll prepare ourselves to engage in or support nonviolent direct action to stop Keystone XL and for environmental and climate justice. We will also on give updates on upcoming mobilizations against the Keystone XL and Chevron Richmond Refinery's toxic hazards--including the refineries efforts to refine dirtier tar sand and fracking oil.

An informative & fun afternoon for:
  • anyone who is interested in participating in upcoming nonviolent direct action - and -
  • those who are willing to support others risking arrest - and -
  • folks who just want to find out more.

"Time is running out for our future on this planet, but the human race isn't going down without a fight. In recent years, a bold new wave of environmental activists has stepped up to stop the fossil fuel industry before it's too late. This movement "has no great charismatic leader and no central organization," writes Bill McKibben in his latest Rolling Stone feature,"The Fossil Fuel Resistance." "It battles on a thousand fronts. But taken together, it's now big enough to matter, and it's growing fast."
