Climate Contingent at May Day March 5/1

MayDayFruitvale.jpgMay Day, International Workers' Day, is a holiday in many countries to celebrate workers. In the U.S. it has also become a day to take a strong stand for immigrant rights. This year in the Bay Area, there will be a large march to stand for workers & immigrant rights. Folks in the climate movement have decided to form a climate contingent to join the May 1st march & stand in solidarity with workers & immigrants & to show important connections between the climate & workers & immigrants' rights movements. Please join us at the April 29th Mobilization Planning meetings to build for the climate contingent at May Day.

The next planning meeting is March 7th.
