Stop Oil Trains March & Rally,July 11th, 11am, Richmond
This is a regional Bay Area Event. We are organizing a 350 Bay Area contingent at the march. Please meet us at the 350 Bay Area banner in Atchison Park where the march is assembling.
This year, from July 6-12, 2015, citizens have organized more than 100 events across the US and Canada to demand an immediate ban on oil trains. On July 6, 2013 in Lac Megantic, Quebec, an oil train exploded killing 47 people. Two years later big oil is pushing harder than ever to move more and more oil trains through North America, while oil trains keep exploding, and carbon emissions keep rising. On Saturday, July 11th please join us in the 350 Bay Area contingent at the Stop Oil Trains March & Rally in Richmond. Meet at the 350 Bay Area banner in Atchison Village Park where the march is assembling.
