Our actions to prevent the Keystone XL Pipeline from being approved have had positive consequences already (http://grist.org/news/oil-refiners-dont-care-about-keystone-xl-anymore/), but we still need to plan for possible civil disobedience. We will be meeting on Sunday, November 24th at 4pm at the San Francisco Unitarian Universalist Church 1187 Franklin St San Francisco.
If you are interested in participating in the civil disobedience action, please sign up at the pledge of resistance: http://act.credoaction.com/sign/kxl_pledge. All arrestees are required to go through the direct action training. I don't know of trainings that are coming up, but if there are enough people who need it, we can contact the trainers.
