Justice Can't Wait 11/29

The election is over, & the battle continues. Join hundreds of low-wage workers on strike from multiple industries as we assert that the Fight for Economic, Racial, Immigrant & Environmental Justice can't wait, won't wait!

On Tuesday, 11/29 across the country thousands will take to the street sending a clear message that we are united in solidarity to fight for justice, because JUSTICE CAN'T WAIT.  We will make it clear  that we reject the politics of divisiveness that tears America apart by race, religion, ethnicity and gender. We will unequivocally send a message that any efforts to block wage increases, gut workers’ rights, deport immigrants, destroy our planet or support racism or racist policies, will be met with unrelenting opposition.
In the Bay Area and throughout CA, and across the country movements will unite in this day of action -Black Lives Matter, Immigrant Justice, Housing Justice, and Environmental, Climate, and Indigenous Justice movements.  We will demonstrate that the fight continues and that we are committed to fight together.
Hundreds of workers will be on strike in Northern CA, and will meet at the location below.  Locally, 25 Low Wage workers from a variety of industries (retail, fast food, uber/lyft drivers, janitors, airport workers, security officers) will take the street in a courageous act of civil disobedience to kick off the day of action.
In solidarity movement leaders and activists representing Black Lives, Immigrant Justice, Environmental & Climate Justice, the Faith community and key elected leaders are being asked to join them.
