Idle No More Solidarity: Draw the Line Ocean Beach 9/21

Idle No More "Draws the Line" at Ocean Beach, San Francisco:This event is in conjunction with the national 350.org campaign to "Draw the Line on the Keystone XL"

All are welcome to join us! We will begin with a prayer and teach-in at 10:00 in the morning. We will draw an image in the sand of Mother Earth with two paths leading to her. One path will have words embodying the world which existed before colonization and industrialization: the world we want. The other is the path of corporate destruction which names the corporations such as TransCanada (the builder of the Keystone XL Pipeline) that are destroying the environment which Mother Earth's children need to exist. We will conduct a round dance, a dance of peace and friendship at the end.

This is also national Beach Clean-up Day, so feel free to bring a garbage bag to help clean up the belly of our Mother Earth.

Park in the lot at Ocean Beach between Fulton and Lincoln and look for us! Public transportation goes directly to Ocean Beach. Bring your friends and family! Please take lots of photos and upload them to this page. Thank you.
