Fossil Free California meeting 1/14

ffca_logo_vertical_orange.jpgFossil Free California members and all other interested divestment activists will meet in Oakland to discuss our plans for 2016, especially in light of the December Paris agreement. Brett Fleishman, financial analyst, will meet with us to discuss coordinating divestment activities with the national organization.

The meeting is in the second-floor office at 1729 Telegraph Avenue, on Thursday afternoon, January 14th, from 4 to 6 pm.

Please RSVP if you are planning to come, so we can know how many people to expect. Newcomers are welcome!

Agenda Overview

  • Debrief on Paris talks in relation to the divestment movement
  • "Divest the Rest" planning for CalPERS and CalSTRS divestment of oil and gas
  • Expanding our reach: faith groups, municipal campaigns, and individual divestment

If you’re unable to attend in person but want to join us by phone, please let us know. We’ll provide a call-in number for you in the reminder just before the meeting.

Hope you can join us on January 14th!
