Clean Power to the People Happy Hour/Update 5/25

Clean Power to the People is a Happy Hour / Mixer with a clean power update and a campaign strategy session. It's a follow-up of the last Clean Energy & Jobs Oakland Campaign event on March 15th. The East Bay Clean Power Alliance is advocating for community representation on the board and development of local energy resources to benefit the community.

We will be taking action at the Alameda County Board of Supervisors meeting in late June or early August. We'll be demanding an Alameda County Community Choice energy program that will meet the communities’ needs. Without our voices at the table, the program is moving forward without local clean energy, equitable economic development, or family-sustaining union jobs to benefit our communities.

Appetizers and drinks catered by Masa Pa' La Raza Cooperative.
