CPUC Net Metering Workshop 3/30

CPUC200x46.jpg How will rooftop solar be integrated into utility systems?

The California Public Utilities Commission(CPUC) is in the process of developing the "successor tariff" which will replace the current net metering program when it expires in July 2017.  The state's investor-owned utilities are fighting to weaken the program, and the process is an opportunity to demand fair compensation to encourage further growth of rooftop solar.

The CPUC is holding a workshop to get input on the public spreadsheet tool that will be used to assess options for the new form of net metering. Attend the workshop to give comments, or observe and support those who do.

The tool will be posted online in the coming days. See the CPUC website for more information.
