California Transportation Summit 2015 4/27-28

Join with advocates from across California to learn, connect, strategize, and win change.

California, the birthplace of America’s car culture, can embrace a different future: one where all residents can live in wonderful places with safe, abundant options besides a car to get where they need to go.

You can be part of the change!  Come to TransForm's annual California Transportation Choices Summit.

Meet activists from around the state and hear from keynote speaker, the inspiring Manuel Pastor, and other advocacy and agency leaders as they describe the latest opportunities and challenges in building powerful networks for a greener, more equitable California.

Afterwards, attend and participate in breakout sessions covering a variety of topics:

  • Ways to strengthen the State’s goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and investing in our communities and green economy;
  • Creating Accessible Communities through Transportation;
  • Dramatically increasing funds for bicycle and pedestrian projects and programs;
  • Honing our advocacy message

OPTIONAL: April 26 - Mobile Tours

Join us for a local tour of Sacramento's transportation system! Tour the historic Capitol Building, visit the train museum, or walk and roll through the streets.

OPTIONAL: April 28 - Advocacy Day 2015

Speak out and be heard!  Come together with teams of diverse advocates from around the state, and take your message to the Capitol building.  You will visit state legislators and the governor’s office.
