Breaking Through Concrete: An Arts & Activism Celebration 6/9

Please join Stand, Asian Pacific Environmental Network, Communities for a Better Environment, 350 Bay Area, & more to a beautiful evening of music, poetry, art, and activism at the Starline Social Club! Breaking Through Concrete is a free celebration that will showcase artists exploring resistance and resilience, focusing on interconnected social and environmental justice issues that impact communities in the East Bay and beyond. Come and celebrate our resilience, our creativity, and our power.

This FREE, all-ages event features speakers, performance artists, musicians, and poets such as:

  • David Solnit (Artist in Residence for 350 Bay Area)

  • AshEl SeasunZ (Earth Amplified & Hip-Hop is Green)

  • Khafre James (Hip Hop For Change)

  • Desarie Harp (Wappo Native Performer)

  • Ajman (Black Men Determination Project)

  • Aimee Suzara (Filipino-American poet, performer, educator)
