Air District Climate Plan Open House - Cupertino 1/30

Three years and counting since the Air District Board adopted 350 Bay Area's Climate Resolution committing the region to deep GHG emission reductions, at long last the Air District has released its Draft Spare the Air, Cool the Climate (2017 Plan), which will serve as a blueprint for their work on clean air and climate protection in the Bay Area.

The Draft 2017 Plan identifies 85 strategies for the Air District and the Bay Area to pursue over the next few years and beyond to reduce air pollution and protect public health and the global climate.

RSVP and mark your calendar for this upcoming open house. Air District staff look forward to hearing our thoughts about the their vision of this first-ever regional climate protection plan and new clean air strategies. This is an opportunity to make your voice heard before the plan goes to the BAAQMD board for adoption later in the year.
