350 East Bay July Mtg 7/16

Please join us at our July meeting. After the meeting, we'll be having a summer potluck! After the potluck, the Legislative Committee will be having a meeting. You're welcome to join us for just the potluck, just one of the meetings, or all of the above. Whether you're new or you're already involved, there are tons of ways to get in on the action! :)

10:30am - 12:30pm: 350 East Bay meeting

12:30pm - 1:00pm: Summer Potluck

1:00pm - 3:00pm: 350 East Bay Legislative Committee Meeting

350 East Bay Meeting Agenda:

  • toast & celebration of the victorious coal ban in Oakland
  • planning a fall event
  • talking about a climate questionnaire for elected representatives
  • regional campaign pushing for a cap on refinery emissions (a national first!)
  • planning outreach to ban fracking in Alameda County
  • planning for a workshop on how to be a climate activist while dealing with the pain of understanding the crisis we face


350 East Bay is the East Bay branch of 350 Bay Area, and we're building an East Bay climate movement. We have general meetings on the third Saturday of each month, and and committee meetings throughout the month. See below for a list of 350 East Bay's committees, and whom to contact to get involved:
